EMBA notice 27 February Route closure 15th March etc

 

1.  Route closure Shongweni

Saturday 15 March- All Shongweni Routes are closed to EMBA riders until 14h00.  This is due to the Thomas More Big Walk taking place. We cannot risk colliding with any of the children

 

You may ride from 14h00, and hopefully won’t meet up with any stragglers!

 

1. Wild Coast Amble

Join Detour Trails on a 5-day recreational ride from Morgan Bay to Coffee Bay. Experience the beauty and rugged coastline as you amble your way along the Wild Coast

 

WHEN: 12^th -18^th May 2014

 

WHERE: The Wild Coast, Eastern Cape

 

DISTANCE: Approx 140kms in total; depends on river crossings, routes chosen & Detours!

 

COST: R8500 per person sharing

 

WHAT’S IN & WHAT’S OUT: The cost includes everything while on the trail, except for drinks at overnight stops & anything of a personal nature & insurance (med evac)

 

Accommodation the night before and the night after are included

Anyone who wants me to send out a notice, please note that I am happy to do this, but only if I am sending out a general notice.  I can’t send notices at other times- I get too much flak from some riders!!  However, you can make use of the (2) EMBA Face book pages- links below. (Use both- one was set up by Ian and one by Ewan)

1.  Finally, last but not least, please ensure that you comply with the EMBA rules at all times.  I still get calls about non-compliant riders.  I know you all know the rules, and I am aware that I sound like a school marm and offend some, and that generally I am preaching to the converted, but I do need to ensure that all the TH rules are obeyed!
